New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A) bloc-led Parliamentarians on Thursday held a protest march from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk here on the suspension of MPs in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Taking a dig at BJP-led Centre, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the government doesn’t want the Parliament to run. “In the Democracy, it is our right to speak. We are the representatives of people and our job is to raise their questions in the house which we were doing.

We wanted to discuss the issue of security breach which took place last week in the Lok Sabha,” said Kharge.

On the suspension of MPs, he said, “The MPs those who raised the security breach issue in both the houses were suspended.”

Talking to the media during the protest march, the Congress President slammed Prime Minister and Home Minister for not making any statement in the Parliament on security breach incident.

“PM Modi did not turned up in the Parliament to make any statement on security breach issue, but speaking about the incident outside the parliament,” Kharge alleged.

Announcing the next step of INDIA alliance, he said the opposition bloc will hold nationwide protests on December 22 against suspension of MPs in both houses of Parliament.
